Conciliation & Peacemaking

Conflict in a church leadership team doesn't have to end in fracture. With the right help, it can become the place where trust, humility, and unity actually take root.

Lou has spent over 35 years in ministry — 19 of them as a Lead Pastor — and the past 15 years walking alongside pastors and church leaders through exactly this kind of conflict. He's not a theorist. He's led through it himself, and he knows what it takes to come out the other side with a healthier team.

How This Works

Reaching out about conflict in your church or leadership team can feel exposing — like admitting something is broken. It isn't. Every church, every team of people who care deeply, will face conflict eventually. What matters is what happens next.

Conversations here are confidential. The first step is simply a conversation — no assessment, no commitment, just a chance to talk through what's happening and whether this is the right fit for your situation.

Relational Wisdom Coaching & Training

Relationships are meant to be transformed, not just managed. Relational Wisdom is enhanced emotional intelligence, grounded in the wisdom principles of God's Word — the practical skill of handling conflict, communication, and relationships well at home, at church, and at work. Many people come to us seeing conflict as an obstacle to get past. What we help them discover is that conflict, worked through well, becomes an opportunity — a place to grow in ways that ripple into every relationship after it.

Whether your church is navigating real conflict, wants to build a healthier culture before conflict hits, or you simply want to grow personally, Relational Wisdom training gives you the tools to get there.

What You'll Experience

Stronger relationships — less conflict, more enjoyable, productive, and enduring connection

Valued influence — your example and advice become more credible and welcomed by others

Sharper performance — improved relational skills strengthen both personal life and team effectiveness at work

An inspiring example — visible change in your character and relationships shows others that growth is possible

Ways to Work Together

Onsite Training

Bring Relational Wisdom training to your church or organization. Patti teaches both a faith-based approach to RW for churches and Christian organizations, and a values-based approach for secular organizations and workplaces — tailored to fit your group's context.

Individual Training

Learn the essentials of Relational Wisdom in a small online group (limited to 10), through lecture, discussion, and real application — 6 sessions, 1.5 hours each.

Team Training

Take your team or group through Relational Wisdom training together, applying the skills directly to your team's specific dynamics and relationships — 6 sessions, 1.5 hours each. Team training often includes an Everything DiSC assessment, matched to what your team needs:

  • Workplace — helps every person on the team build more productive, effective working relationships, regardless of role

  • Management — for managers developing their style, directing and delegating well, and working effectively with their own manager

  • Agile EQ — builds the emotional intelligence needed for an adaptable, resilient team culture

Productive Conflict — for teams specifically working through unproductive conflict patterns

Using the Everything DiSC Productive Conflict assessment, your team identifies the specific patterns that fuel unproductive conflict — and learns to redirect that same energy toward better outcomes. As a certified RW360 Instructor under Ken Sande, Patti draws on both Relational Wisdom and Relational Peacemaking training, tailored to your team.

Coaching Skills Workshop

Want to learn to coach others well — as a pastor, counselor, mentor, or leader? This workshop is an entry point into coaching through the Relational Wisdom 360 lens, using the Self, Others, and God/Values model to build practical skills: active listening, asking powerful questions, giving feedback without defensiveness, designing action steps people actually follow through on, and following up to build real accountability. Built for those experienced and new to coaching alike — practice-based, not lecture-based.

Patti is a certified RW360 instructor and co-developer of this curriculum. This workshop is an entry point on the RW Coach training pathway— learn more at RW360.org.

What People Are Saying

Anchor Point Ministry helped change the way our Pastoral Team looked at leadership and ministry. When we got involved with Anchor Point, we were a church in crisis. The Lord took us to the brink several times, only to pull us back and increase our dependence on Him and His Word. He used our trials to change each one of us — and then our church — binding us closer together. Today reconciliation is one of the central pillars of who we are. We are so thankful for Anchor Point Ministry!
