Conflict doesn't have to be the end of a church's health — it can be the beginning of it.
That conviction is the foundation of everything Lou and Patti do.
Meet Lou & Patti
Together
Lou and Patti founded Anchor Point Ministry around two halves of the same goal: Patti's training helps leaders build the relational skills that prevent conflict before it takes root, and Lou's coaching helps churches work through conflict that's already surfaced — always in service of disciple-making, healthy relationships, and healthy church culture.
Meet Lou
Lou spent 19 years as a Lead Pastor in two churches, part of over 35 years in full-time ministry.
Some of his hardest seasons as a pastor came through the conflict that naturally arises when people who care deeply about their church don't see eye to eye. Learning to face that conflict well, rather than avoid it, changed how he led — and how he saw ministry itself.
Since retiring from the pastoral role, he has spent the past 15 years mentoring and coaching pastors in disciple-making, conflict mediation, and personal and marital counseling. He helps pastors and church leaders develop the skills to face conflict directly, mediate it biblically, and come out the other side with a healthier team.
Lou holds degrees from Biola University and Talbot Theological Seminary.
Meet Patti
Patti brings a coach's eye to the same conviction: healthy relationships don't happen by accident, they're built.
She has coached church ministry leaders since 2013 and workplace teams since 2018, helping individuals and teams grow in Relational Wisdom — the practical skills of handling conflict, communication, and relationships well.
Patti teaches Relational Wisdom and Productive Conflict training, and coaches both teams and individuals. She co-wrote the coaching courses she continues to teach for RW360, where she also trains other coaches.
She is an Authorized Wiley Everything DiSC Partner and Certified Trainer, and holds a coaching certification through Professional Christian Coaching Institute. Her own story — how a season of failure became the platform for her growth and calling — shapes how she coaches others through their own hard seasons.
Beyond Anchor Point, Patti also coaches individuals, families, and workplace teams through her independent practice at relationalwisdomcoaching.com.
